How to Set Up Buy Me a Coffee Integration
Setting up Buy Me a Coffee with Stream Alert takes just 2 minutes. Here's how:
Step 1: Open Apps in Stream Alert
- Log in to your Stream Alert dashboard
- Navigate to Apps in the sidebar
- Find the Buy Me a Coffee card and click Connect
Step 2: Copy Your Webhook URL
- A dialog will appear with your unique webhook URL
- Click the copy button to copy the URL to your clipboard
- Keep this URL private - it's unique to your account
Step 3: Configure Buy Me a Coffee
- Go to Buy Me a Coffee Studio Webhooks
- Paste your webhook URL in the Webhook URL field
- Select Support Created or Donation Created as the event
- Click Save to save
Step 4: Test Your Setup
- In Buy Me a Coffee webhook settings, send a test webhook
- Check your Stream Alert Live Alerts page
- You should see a test donation appear

Test donations from Buy Me a Coffee are automatically detected and won't appear in your donation history or KPI stats.
